About the books by James A Fisher

Land of the Noble Free: An Alternate History, is the original book with Tom Hathaway as the protagonist, written from the point of view of an American who becomes stranded in an alternative history. It remains as a standalone book with no sequel planned. The first edition of it (with a different title) was self-published in 2019. Various titles and covers have since been used, but all of them have continued the same storyline with the same characters. An audiobook on AUDIBLE narrated by Benjamin E. Norsworthy (human voice) is now available.
Falcon Feather of Lone Mountain: A Vinlandian Tale, originally began as a sequel to the original book, but then ended up as a separate novel. This novel is written from the perspective of someone from the Vinlandian alternative history, namely Kimileah/Falcon Feather, who encounters the man from Nowhere (Hathaway) from our timeline. This book retains many of the same characters in the first book, yet with a different storyline and altered character roles and identities. This book ends with an opportunity for a sequel. Audiobooks on Amazon and AUDIBLE are available.
Anyone who visits Stone Mountain Village, will find this book for sale at The Vibrary. Please visit my Extra Stuff page for more information about this establishment.
The author’s motivation for writing these books is based on a desire to right the wrongs of the past (at least in a fictional way). The author himself has no Native American blood in his veins, but simply regrets the injustices endured by Native Americans, especially in the 1800’s in the wake of the Indian Removal Act of 1830.
I should probably mention that there's a companion book to this one, with the same content, only the name Falcon Feather is Golden Feather in that one. It was actually written before I made this book out of it, when I decided to concentrate on one book and produce an audiobook using Virtual Voice available on Amazon KDP. You may run into it somewhere, in your travels around Amazon or Goodreads. A Priceless Gift She Brings: An Alternative History. I'm going to leave it published for now, since it has lots of good reviews. But it won't have an audiobook.
